72 Hours of G20
The above video was shot by my roommate Joe. He was transcribing(?) his experiences of the G20 on his phone, and when that died on a notebook, and then later on his iPod.. He's written it all up on wonderful blog post that I recommend you read, its very interesting and gives you a great insight into some of the events.

All the CMU (click the tag) stuff was shot on really old crappy 200 asa film. It shifts colors pretty easy, and thats not ALWAYS a good thing.

Probably my new favourite picture
I was only in Pittsburgh for one day of the G20. Even though i saw one of the smaller riots, I missed the big ones over the weekend. Im kinda really mad about alot of stuff that happened, and ill get to that in a future post.
For now, here are pictures from the Free Tibet demonstration.
Bliss
CMU, in its infinite nerdom, parades the super computers of yesteryear on this sweet little balcony. I was there when the sun was setting against it.
I think this warrants a little Board of Canada right now.
BBQ
I really dont like bbq sauce. Like, at all. So i made this awesome curry/thel dala sauce ribs which came out HEAVENLY. The american kids who are not used to the wonders of roasted curry powder were thoroughly impressed. To say the least.
On a side note, flames look so much better on film. None of that white balance nonsense

Life's disappointments
So i took a bit of a plunge and bought a adapter for my digital SLR which will let me use my old film lenses with it. The thing is the lenses will fit my DSLR but due to some sort of what-the-fuckery they have sent me an adapter that wont let me focus my lens to infinity, and only takes like super macro shots. Macro is fine and dandy for those who are into it, but almost everything i shoot is at infinity (like building shots) and not having it makes the whole kit completely useless.
Im going to call Adorama on monday and see if they can send me one that will.
